Meet Vogman Design + Build, Toronto Team

That's the business.
Here's how it started.

I grew up around building. My dad is an engineer, my mom was an architect, and I spent years trying not to become one myself. I went into graphic design instead, then product design, leading UI/UX teams at financial institutions and startups. I was great at it, people called me the UI Queen. For a while, I loved it. But the more senior I became, the less I actually got to create. What I missed was building something with my hands and seeing it finished.

I started renovating on the side in 2012, on the first house my parents bought, and registered Vogman Design in 2017. I kept taking on projects around my full-time job: a loft with my dad and friends, then a townhouse where I began bringing in professional trades.

In 2023, a business partner and I gutted UPNØRD WELLNESS, a two-storey cottage in Tobermory, top to bottom. We completed the nine-month project in 2024, and I managed everything from demolition to final finish. It's now a Scandinavian-inspired retreat with a private spa, and a successful Airbnb. This is the project that convinced everyone around me, and eventually me, that I should be doing this full time.

Leaving a stable career to start over was terrifying, but I understand this work like nothing else I've done. My UX background matters more than I expected: understanding how someone lives in a space changes how you build it.

I manage every project so my clients don't have to, built to code and inspected when required. My job is to take the stress out of renovating your home, so what we build together is something you actually love living in.

That's what drives every renovation Vogman Design + Build takes on across Toronto and GTA today, from kitchens and bathrooms to full home transformations.
